Recently, the Chamber partnered with K-9 Construction led by skilled General Contractor Tamekia Conner for the first expansion project in Holly Springs, Mississippi.
The project marks the beginning of an exciting expansion for a local business owner. This initiative highlights the Chamber’s commitment to link members with the right resources to bring their visions to life, ultimately driving revenue and creating a stronger business network in Marshall County.
Projects like this underscore the Chamber’s role in not only supporting local entrepreneurs but also facilitating collaborations that strengthen the entire community.

The City of Holly Springs and the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce have officially started a collaboration to partner aiming to strengthen economic development, supporting small businesses, and uniting community efforts across the region.
The collaboration was formalized on July 7, marking a significant step forward in regional cooperation between Mayor Charles Terry of Holly Springs and Marshall County Chamber of Commerce President Andrinetta Howard.
The potential partnership will include joint programming, community initiatives, business outreach, and events designed to strengthen ties between the city and the broader Marshall County area.

Holly Springs community leaders came together to make a difference during the recent Anti-Bullying Community Camp. (Top L–R) Alderwoman Hodges and Chief of Police Glover, along with (Bottom L–R) Fire Chief Crane and Destiny of H.O.P.E., distributed backpacks filled with school supplies and essential resources to local families.
The event not only provided much-needed materials for students as they prepare for the school year, but also reinforced the community’s commitment to standing against bullying and supporting youth. The collaborative effort between city officials, public safety leaders, and nonprofit organizations reflects Holly Springs’ dedication to creating a safe and nurturing environment for its residents.

The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) recently met with Mayor Sidney Person of Potts Camp, to discuss opportunities for a potential partnership that could benefit both the business community and local residents.
While no formal agreement has yet been signed, the meeting served as an important step toward fostering collaboration between the Chamber and the Town of Potts Camp. Discussions centered on ways to connect local businesses, expand resources, and encourage initiatives that could boost economic growth and community engagement.
Until an official commitment letter is received, the partnership will remain under consideration. However, both parties expressed optimism about the future and the possibilities that lie ahead.

Holly Springs Wraps a Joyful Annual Kickball Tournament at Sam’s Coopwood Park
Holly Springs, MS — August 16, 2025
Sunshine, big kicks, and bigger smiles defined this year’s Annual Kickball Tournament at Sam’s Coopwood Park (880 HWY 4 East). Starting at 3:00 PM and rolling “until,” families, friends, and neighbors packed the baselines to cheer on community teams in a day that showcased Holly Springs spirit at its best.

Flavor in every inning
Food trucks kept everyone fueled, including Momma Ann’s, Fresh Out the Water, Chinya, and more. From savory plates to cool treats, vendors delivered a true taste of Holly
Springs between innings.
A free, family-friendly tradition
With [estimated attendance, e.g., “several hundred”] in the park, this free event offered something for all ages—open green space for kids, reconnecting with friends for adults, and a shared sense of hometown pride for everyone.
